Beginnings are Always Messy...

Very messy indeed. I have had the idea of blogging the process of bringing a Major League Soccer franchise to New York City for a while now. Mainly to help make this goal a reality, but also because there is no one place on the web where people interested can find pertinent information on a New York City Football Club. While I will try to keep readers updated on the latest developments we have to be honest with ourselves and understand that NYC FC will not happen overnight. So to kill some time expect to also find a lot of my opinions and ruminations of what professional soccer means in the greatest city in the world - New York!

So after many months of excuses I am finally getting this site up and running. In the next few weeks I plan to make many improvements to this site. I have to start somewhere, so here it is... NewYorkCityFC.net
